THE VEHICLE TO GREATNESS Do you know the secret to greatness lies in OBEDIENCE. Whatever he says to you, do it. (John 2:5). I have been learning a lot about greatness this past few days , and I thought I share with you. Greatness means to be in Abundance Exceedingly...This doesn't have to be in monetary value,but in all areas. All round abundance and success. Let's look at great people in the bible. Abraham, father of all nations (Gen 12:1-4) . God told Abraham to leave where he was, his family and go to a place where he would show him. Abraham obeyed without hesitation , he didn't complain about where he was going to. He OBEYED GOD, and we can see what happened next. God blessed him greatly to the fact that till now, we still say Abraham blessings are mine! Isaac(Gen 26:1-14). God spoke to Isaac , not to go to Egypt, but to still dwell in the same land where he was , there was famine(no food, nothing to reap) . Isaac OBEYED and remained there. If we look at verse 13: it says (KJV) 'The man waxed great, and went forward and grew until he became very Great...Halleluyah. MSG Translation says ' The man got richer and richer by the day , until he was very wealthy. I don't know what The Lord is telling you right now, but whatever he says to you, please OBEY. That's the only way we can reap the fruits. It might look silly, it might sound stupid, we might not like it initially, but you Have to trust him. He's got our back always! Jer 29:11-says for I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith The Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Abraham didn't know where he was going, for some of us, it's a foolish idea, sounds silly. Isaac was in a land that was in famine, anguish poverty , but God told him to remain there. In either both ways, they Obeyed God, and their lives were transformed. Trust God today, obey him and let him transform your life. Even in the little things that we are to obey; thou shall not lie, thou shall not steal, thou shall not commit fornication/Adultery, thou shall not bear false witness, honor your father and Mother and the list goes on.... What are we doing about them. If we obey and do them, we have put the devil to shame and honour God. If we honour God, God would honour us in return. If we look at the story of Joseph, Joseph decided to honour God. He said 'how can I do this great wickedness and sin against God. (Gen 39:9). Such a great Honour! God never left Joseph and blessed him greatly. It doesn't have to be clear instructions given to you by God before you obey him, even in these little things, let us obey God and see our lives transformed. Isaiah 1:19 ' if ye be willing and OBEDIENT, you shall eat the good of the land. It's all the there written for us to follow. God never goes back on his word. In our relationships/ Marriage, what instructions is he giving us. For singles, before we make that choice, do we ask him?Do we obey? Are we living right? So that we can eat the fruit of a blessed marriage. For the Married, how are we living our homes, do we obey what he says, are we struggling financially, We need to just obey him. If we look at Deuteronomy 28, oh my! We Can see the blessings and rewards for obedience , we need to be confessing these into our lives. I don't know about you, but I want those blessings in my life and that of my family. It says the blessings shall overtake you, you shall be great both in Nigeria and outside. Are you seeing what I am seeing........The greatness would be so much, people would be afraid of you. For Isaac, he was envied. If you want these blessing in your life, you only need to accept Jesus in your life, please quickly call Pastor Dunamis and let him lead you to Christ , only then would this greatness begin. Another story , the miracle of water to wine. Jesus mother said, whatever he tells you to do, do it. We all know the story. Didn't it sound silly, stupid.... We said wine has finished, Jesus said fill the pots with water, but they OBEYED! And the transformation happened. If you want your life , finances, relationship, Marriage, to be different, distinct...whatever he is telling you, Do it. Why not decide to Obey God today, and see your life transform. OBEY HIM - REAP THE FRUIT OF THE LAND OBEY HIM - GREATNESS HAPPENS TO YOU OBEY HIM - EXPERIENCE TRANSFORMATION I Trust God to help our lives today to take a new turn and Dimension even as we decide to obey him.Amen.
