How to be sure your wedding / desire is done

  • "And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."  (Rom 4:21, KJV)

Dear KHCites, you must be fully persuaded.

Whatever your desire is, wedding, settling down, starting a business, building a career, traveling out of the country, getting a contract, getting a job, change of job, getting a promotion, getting a car, building your own house, starting a church, building a ministry, starting an NGO, having fruit of the womb, getting healed of a sickness or an ailment and so on, whatever it is, you must be fully persuaded!

    As in full persuasion!

That God does not promise what He will not perform.

We are often used to disappointments, because men have disappointed us too many a time.

But you need to know that God is not a man!

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"  (Num 23:19, KJV)

If God said it, it will surely come to pass. If God has spoken it, He will surely make it good.

Now that you know that God will never fail, then you need to work on yourself until you have full persuasion.

Full persuasion is necessary to deliver what has been promised but has not yet been released into your hands.

You must not have even a little space for doubt.

    You must be FULLY persuaded.

What does it mean to be fully persuaded?

Some of its elements are mentioned in verses 18 -20 of same chapter as seen in the life of Abraham. Let’s quickly take a look at it.

    1. Who against hope believed in hope (Verse 18)
When everything seemed hopeless, he never lost hope in God!

Amplified Bible says “[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith…

Every human reason tells him he is finished, but he stayed in faith concerning what God has said.

Listen to me, in this walk with God, it will often be like that. You would look like a stupid idiot in your attempt at holding on to God’s word. But at the end, God will never fail you!

However, don't bother to hold on to what you are not sure God said! But if you are sure God said it, you can bet your life on it! It will come to pass!

What else does it mean to be fully persuaded?

    2. And being not weak in faith… (Verse 19)
He never allowed His faith to grow to weak.

    Can faith grow weak? Yes!

    Can faith grow strong? Yes!

How does faith grow strong? By feeding on God’s word consistently. Each time, Abraham sees the sand and the stars, He would remember what God has said. Everyday and every night. It is the same way you grow your faith, you must behold God’s word day and night, and you will find yourself strong in faith!

What else does it mean to be fully persuaded?

    3. He considered not! (Verse 19)
He did not give a mental consideration to his problem. He refused to keep analysing the impossibility of the situation, but rather he stayed on the possibility of God!

His dead body was there. He could see it every day, but he did not consider it. He did not give any observation to it. The deadness of Sarah womb was there in stark reality staring at him everyday, but he refused to consider it!

Look at the way Message Translation puts it.
"Abraham didn't focus on his own impotence and say, "It's hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child." Nor did he survey Sarah's decades of infertility and give up."  (Rom 4:19, MSG)
He did not FOCUS on his impotence neither did he SURVEY Sarah’s decade of infertility and give up,

Don’t become a spiritual surveyor to your detriment. Focus on the what He said not what your body is saying!

Focus on the marriage that is coming, not on your singleness.

Focus on your healing, not on your body that seems to be giving way!

Focus on the word of prosperity after you have sown your seed and not on your bank account.

This is very important on your journey to becoming fully persuaded.

    4. He staggered not (Verse 20)
He did not stagger at God’s promise, but was strong in faith.

When you stagger, it doesn't mean you fall, but it means you are not stable. Up today, down tomorrow.

Now I speak to your life, with God’s unction upon me, every spirit that causes you to stagger at God’s promise is destroyed now in Jesus name!

Message Translation puts it this way
"He didn't tiptoe around God's promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God,"  (Rom 4:20, MSG)

Stop tiptoeing! It is time to plunge into God’s promise and word so that you can come up strong in Jesus name!

    5. He was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
He kept giving praise to what has not yet manifested, but you see when you are fully persuaded that something will happen, you can as well thank God ahead.

Rather than worry, keep giving thanks,

Rather than get depressed and moody, be full of life and ecstasy in God and give thanks!

Say this with me. I refuse to grow weak in my faith again. I am fully persuaded at what God has said. I will not back out on God. I will not consider the obvious, but I hold on to the truth, which is greater than the fact! I refuse to stagger any longer, I focus on God’s word, and I will surely obtain that which God has promised me in Jesus name!

Doubt, get out of my heart! Doubt, get out of my life, There is no room again for you. I am fully persuaded. I believe God. I honour God and His word. I focus on God’s word.

Day by day, I will dwell on God’s word, and my faith is growing strong. I am not abandoned. I am not left alone and I will have the victory at the end BECAUSE God’s word will NEVER FAIL! Amen!

So shall it be in Jesus name!
