Believe it, God is rejoicing over you

  • By Pastor Sophia

Have you ever wondered really, how much God loves you? Have you ever taken time out to think it through and believe what God's word says about how much He loves you?
Most of the time, the devil succeeds in deceiving us because he told us a lie which we believe that God's love for us isn't deep or special.
But that's not what Bible says. All through the scriptures, we see how much God says He loves us. Not only does He love you, He is rejoicing over you. He is so excited about you. In contemporary language, He is crazy about you. He loves you so much, you occupy His thoughts and heart.
Sometimes, we tend to judge God based on our experiences. We never experienced true love from our parents, we conclude God must be like our earthly parents. But let God be true and every man a liar. God's word, not our experience is a witness of who God says He is and what He can do.
    Zeph 3:17 CEV
'The LORD your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love."
    Another translation
    Zeph 3:17 Amp
'The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing'.
So this is the truth. You give God so much delight, He is rejoicing over you with joy. Because of His love for you, He will keep quiet about your past mistake, sins and errors. He is rejoicing in heaven right now, singing. And guess what , you are the theme of His song.
The devil is the accuser of the brethren , and so He delights in making you feel unwanted, unworthy and unrighteous. He wants to bring shame, guilt and pain.
Don't allow him. Choose rather to believe God. Take His Word as true, think about it and then walk in the light of that Word. Remember, His Word is a lamp unto thy feet.
If your fiancee or fiancé tells you He loves you and that He is rejoicing and delighting himself in you, wouldn't you be confident in that love?
God doesn't love you when you are obeying Him only. He loves you and He is reloading His love over you, period.
He is a mighty warrior or soldier in your midst to give you victory upon victory, Glory, hallelujah.
God is excited about the investment of the blood of Jesus over you. That sacrifice must not be wasted by you denying that love.
How broken hearted you make God, when you think he doesn't love you or His love is conditional.
Agreed, you are a work in progress, yet still, God loves every bit of you and the process you are going through.
Why not trust in that love today? Why not embrace that love this morning? Why not respond to His love through your obedience?
And that love will bring assurance into your heart.
It will bring peace into your mind and extricate all fears.
It will bring healing and wholeness.
    It will bring restoration.
So shall it be for you in Jesus name!
