Stay Alive And Stay With God

  • So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. (Job 42:12 KJV)
You can’t wrap this up yet. It is just beginning! I know you are going through issues. I know you are going through some tests and trials.
But the presence of tests and trials in your life do not mean you are disadvantaged, it actually means you have a blessed future that you are not aware of yet.
There is only one thing I require of you this morning, stay alive and stay with God.
The financial upheavals you’ve had, the abuse you went through, the pain you suffered in the hands of that man, the deception you were caught in with that woman, the manipulations you went through under that boss…all of these negative experiences will culminate in a better ending if only you can stay with God.
Job went through the basest and the most painful loss and tragedy any man on earth would ever experience. But he stayed with God.
At a point, his wife told him:
Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. (Job 2:9 KJV)
    See it in Message translation:
His wife said, "Still holding on to your precious integrity, are you? Curse God and be done with it!" (Job 2:9 Message)
And really, Job had enough physical, mental, spiritual attacks than any man can take!
    But what were his responses?
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. (Job 13:15 KJV)
Come on! Job was saying, I would trust this God to the point of death! I will put my trust in Him.
You see, you must come to that point of persuasion in your life. Nothing will separate me from the love of God. Not some money from a moneybag to compromise my virtue. Not some compromise concerning citizenship papers to falsify and alter documents. Not because of some guy whose name is Abednego who wants to go because there is no sex before marriage!
    What else was Job’s response?
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: (Job 19:25 KJV)
Glory to God! Do you know that in the midst of that situation, your redeemer liveth?
And do you know that He will not abandon you but He will come through for you?
Believe it, dear child of God! He will come through for you. You will not lose at the end. You will succeed. Your marriage will be good. You will meet that man that God has ordained for you. You will find that lady that God has prepared for you.
    Your redeemer is alive!
Another translation says something like, a‘my defender is alive!’
Greater days are ahead of you. Renew your faith in God, stay in His word and keep serving Him.
Never stop giving, keep praising, stay away from sin and  you will see the salvation of God!
    Be blessed.

    I will have the victory

    Lord, strengthen me

    Psa 31:24 (KJV)
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
