    3. Let Love Spring From Friendship

Friendship is like a foundation of relationship upon which a great marriage is built.

    Marry your friend!

Whoever is not a friend, is not worth a marriage relationship.

    Friends love each other.

Friends forgive each other.

Friends look after one another’s good.

    Friends talk and play.

Friends do not “form” for each other.

Friends pray together.

Friends easily overlook each other’s mistakes.

Friends cover for each other.

If your lover is not a friend, there will be issues.

Do not marry a “father” or a “mother” or an “uncle,” rather marry a friend.
If he or she is not a friend, don’t walk down the aisle.
    4. Friends are thoughtful and sensitive

A friend doesn’t just blab, he knows what to say, when to say it and how to say it.

A friend is careful not to get you unnecessarily aggravated.

That is the kind of person you need in marriage.

An understanding person.

A person on whose shoulder you can lean.

A hearing ear, understanding heart, and empathic listener.

The one that will not allow you to say anything while you are courting is already showing you that you will be muted in marriage.
    And that can be frustrating.

Nothing is as frustrating as unexpressed and bottled up words and feelings.

A friend enjoys your “talk” although you should not resort to nagging.
    5. Friends are truthful

Friends would always tell you the truth.

Beware of people who say they are your friends and all they do is to tell you what you want to hear, and flatter you all the time.

    Pro 29:5 (MSG)
A flattering neighbor is up to no good; he's probably planning to take advantage of you.

Marry a friend who can tell you the truth, because you often time get to positions that it is only your spouse that can tell you the truth.

    Pro 27:6 (KJV)

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

The one that is kissing you but will never tell you as it is is not a friend.
He or she is not ready to tell you anything that will cause the “kissing” to discontinue.
That person is not really a friend.

    6. A friend is faithful

A good friend will remain faithful with your for life.

A good friend is not ready to leave you, abandon you or deny you.

A good friend will not cheat on you.

The best friend that sleeps with your lover is actually your best enemy.

A fiend will never do that.

Pro 18:24 (MSG)
Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.

If you marry a friend, he or she would rather die than cheat on you.

His or her conscience would not accommodate it.

A good friend has no capacity of evil.

He she is committed till the end.

Do not marry a status symbol who is not a friend.

Do not marry a person because of bank accounts.

If you marry a friend, either you are buoyant or trusting, a friend will stick with you till you come through.

When you marry a friend you will have peace of mind.

I will be stopping here this morning!

    Be blessed.

    I can perceive rightly

    Lord, show me my friend.
    Married: Lord make us friends.

    Pro 18:24 (KJV)
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
