Send today’s devotional using the share buttons to all men in your life, fathers, uncles, brothers, finance, uncles, husbands, and so on.

    Today is Father’s Day!

We would be giving more prominence to fathers' day and mothers' day on KHC.

It is just that there are so many Mothers' days in the year one would hardly know which t follow. So we just follow all. Appreciation is never too much.

Anyway, it is time to celebrate men and fathers!

If your biological father is still alive, this is the day to call and appreciate him and tell him how much you value him.

Especially if you have not done that before!

It is also a good time to send some money into his account whether he needs or not.

    It is called honor.

Mal 1:6a (KJV)
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear?

Also, If I happen to be your spiritual father and you see me as one, I will be expecting your call today! I will make sure my phone is charged. You will find my number below. After service ni o!

    It is a beautiful day!

Every body has a man in his life!

    Celebrate them!

Father, uncle, brother, fiance, spiritual father, pastor etc.

If you are married, celebrate your man today.

What exactly makes a man a man?

Is it deep voice? A lion has a deeper roar.

Is it six packs? A gorilla has more.

    Is it beards? I doubt.

    So, what makes a man?

Let’s take a look at the scriptures.

    Joh 9:19-21 (KJV)
And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?  [20]  His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:  [21]  But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

    We all know this story.

Jesus healed a man of blindness and the people were trying to debunk the miracle.

Their religious minds would not acknowledge the truth, even when it was obvious.

They confronted the parents of the man but for fear, the parents replied:

But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

In other words, he is a man.

    He is of age.

    He shall speak for himself.

In other words, what makes a man is ability to speak for himself.

Certain blessing are tied to a person’s maturity.

If he is a boy, he cannot enter into his inheritance. That is the reality. See it in the scriptures.

Gal 4:1-3 (KJV)
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;  [2]  But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.  [3]  Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

He is the heir, but because he is still a boy and not a man, he is not different from a servant.

He would still be under demonic influence as long as he is still a boy!

The elements of this world, the weak and beggarly elements would still hold sway over his life, because he cannot speak for himself.

He is not a man yet!

Manhood therefore rests not on age or acquisitions, but on utterance, utterance which emanates from a heart that is after God.

    For the scriptures declare

Mat 12:34b (KJV)   ...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

    Can he speak for himself?

    Then he is a man!

Can he pray?

Is he filled with the Holy Ghost?

Can he lead a family?

Can he plead his case before God?

Does he know how to believe God for stuffs?

Can his family depend on his leadership?

    Joh 9:21 (MSG)
But we don't know how he came to see—haven't a clue about who opened his eyes. Why don't you ask him? He's a grown man and can speak for himself."
