    By Pastor Sophia,
Patience is part of the fruit of the recreated human spirit. In order words, patience is not a virtue that comes naturally with our human nature. Naturally, we are hasty, we prefer getting our things NOW.
However, God is a God of process. He enjoys taking His people through process. Usually, God does this, not because He wants to delay His children. He does so, to mature us and train us in trusting in God. God enjoys it when we wait for Him and wait on Him.
Having to wait patiently in relationship is not very easy, but a times, God prefers to take us through that route.
God treats us as individuals, so waiting for Mr Right while your friends are already married is not so easy. Logically, the easiest thing to do is to complain and murmur. To conclude that God is unfaithful or that He has forsaken you.
The danger in such negative thoughts, is that there could be a tendency of shifting your trust in God. You want to begin to resolve to sorting yourself out and handling your own affairs by yourself. Handling your relationship issues by yourself will all of the time lead to regret.
God never intended that we sort our affairs by ourselves. We are created to trust in and depend on God.
While God is working behind the scenes, trust Him enough to wait for Him. Waiting time is not Wasting time. You have to wait patiently. Allow God work on your behalf. Let Him complete the process. For He makes ALL things beautiful in His time.
Here are others ways you can wait for Him.
    1. Waiting prayerfully
    2. Wait worshipfully
Be thankful and grateful. Your faith is built up in an atmosphere of thanksgiving.
    3. Waiting, while sowing your seed
Your seed is very powerful and important. Don't stop putting your seed in the ground.
    4. Wait without sinning
You can't say you are waiting on God and yet your are living in sin, fornicating, cohabiting, etc.
    5. Wait, keeping your relationship with God intact
Your daily reading of God's word, confession, obedience to Gods word are all very important.
    6. Wait, joyfully
Your joy must be intact, as you wait on the Lord. No time for depression or looking gloomy. Your joy and excitement is a sign that you know God is working on your behalf.

Psa Gal 5:22 (MSG)  But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments,
