The ABC Of Knowing True Love For Singles And Married Part 6

  • F - Faithful

There is nothing as beautiful and as peace-bringing as having a faithful spouse.

What a peace it brings to your heart!

What a joy it elicits in the core of your being!

On the contrary, unfaithfulness brings fear, suspicion, trepidation, anxiety, bitterness, and even retaliation.

Proverbs 20:6 (KJV)

Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

Most men will promise heaven and earth, they will toast you until you lose your balance where you are standing, but a faithful man who can find?

It is only God that can find such a man for you!

This is why you cannot just make a marital decision because of a man’s proclamation of his own goodness.

You cannot find a faithful man or woman by the proclamation of the mouth, or flattering of the mouth.

    Pro 20:6 (MSG)

Lots of people claim to be loyal and loving, but where on earth can you find one?

Many will claim they will love you, but where are the real people?

    In another translation, it says,

    Pro 20:6 (CEV)
There are many who say, "You can trust me!" But can they be trusted?
They can only be found in God.
Why is a faithful man so important?
Why is it that faithfulness should not be compromised?
    Pro 28:20 (KJV)
A faithful man shall abound with blessings…
    That is it!

You want a marriage and a home that abounds with blessings?
    Be faithful.
That is the greatest gift you can offer your lover or spouse.

    Be faithful to him.

    Be faithful to her.

Let your eyes be focused on him or her.
    Alone and none else.

I have made up my mind to be faithful to my wife, no matter what?
    Pastor, do you get tempted?

Yes, and severally too.

But my face is set like a flint.

I don’t want to offend God.

I don’t want to do a “great wickedness” unto God, like Joseph said.

    Gen 39:1 (KJV)

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.

I don’t want to lose my ministry.
I don’t want all God has built through my life and ministry to come crashing down.

I don’t want to be found wanting on the judgement day.

I don’t want to offend my wife.

I don’t want to bring a curse into my home and over my children.

I don’t want to make the life of my children to be difficult.

I don’t want a transference of wrong spirits over my children.

I have made up my mind, set like a flint, to be faithful, God helping me.

Every man should commit to this decision.

Every woman should do this and be faithful, for the sake of her God, her husband, her family and her children.

You can be faithful.

And God will be faithful to you.

He or she will not likely change after wedding.
He will proclaim his goodness that after wedding, he would stop, but it doesn’t happen that way.

Be sure that you are following God’s plan!

I pray that God will help you indeed in Jesus name!

I pray that God will fulfill the deepest desires of your heart in Jesus name!

    Be blessed!
