J - Joyful

There is nothing like two joyful people coming together in Holy matrimony!

    It’s beautiful.
    It’s powerful.

There is nothing as humiliating and regretful as two unhappy, depressed people coming together in a relationship or marriage.

The very seed that will crush and destroy the relationship or marriage is right within that.

Do not negotiate joy, peace or fulfillment for anything in this world.

Have you lost your joy while preparing for that wedding?
You need to press the “pause” button and check why there is no joy.

In any direction that comes from the Lord, it comes with an un-explainable joy within.
It might not even be sensible, but it will be joyful.

Essentially, this foundation of joy is what ensures a happy relationship or marriage.

If you look through the Bible, you will see that God wants you to massively enjoy your marriage.

Want me to show you?

Here it is:

    Pro 5:18 (KJV)

Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
The word “rejoice” means to brighten up, to be gleesome, to cheer up and to be merry!

Make sure and decide to have a nice time in your relationship and marriage.

    Forgive yourselves in a hurry!

Don’t spend half the years of your courtship in unnecessary quarrels that wear you out eventually.

Don’t spend the early years of your marriage just moving from strife and bitterness in continuous cycle over trivial issues.

    Being joyful is a choice.

    Being joyful is a decision.

It is not a gift, it is a decision you have to make.

Come against that un-explainable depression that controls you as if you are an emotional puppet.

Rise up and say No to situations and circumstances that want to keep you depressed and prostrated in sorrow.

    Isa 60:1 (AMP)

ARISE [ from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life ]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Rise to a new life in your relationship and marriage.

    Shine and be radiant.

    Your light has come!

    Dear wife, enjoy your marriage.

Days of continuous low cloud living, punctuated with sighs and sadness is not good for your health.

Rather, learn to take your anxieties and give them to God.

Cast your cares upon him because He cares for you.

Dear husband, enjoy the wife of thy youth.
Let her breasts satisfy thee like roes.

Focus on her and stop fantasizing about some other strange girl whose only offer is nemesis.

Dear lady in courtship, days of constant fights and bickering are not good materials to build the foundation of your marital life.

Dear young man in courtship, do not shout on her.

Do not use negative word on her.

Do not kill her self esteem.

Let her be expressive and don’t always allow your ego to mess things up.

Decide to be joyful.

Because the joy of the Lord is your strength!

And you really need that strength at such times like this!

Learn to take a chapter of Psalms and just chant or sing it to yourself.
