Is it a sin?

There is a married man 31years of age and the wife 26years with 2 kids. This man is in overseas away from the wife and fears God as well but he finds himself MStbating whenever he gets urge for jeru trips this happens not so frequent like once in 2 to 3 months.
According to him he finds himself doing it because he prefers to eliminate the thought of jeru tripping outside his wife and he always have this guilt of have sinned after MStbating. He now wants to know what he can do or is if it's actually to MStbate in such motive eliminating the thought of jeru tripping outside him marriage. Please comments and advise.

The truth is masturbation is sinful.its defilement of the body. It is not biblical.the number of times he does it or has done it doesn't matter.my honest advice is he should go to GOD ,confess his sins,ask for forgiveness and grace to overcome the urge or thoughts whenever it comes because it starts from the mind and when he keeps play his thoughts around it he will end up doing it. He can do it if he sincerely decides to stop.
