  Anytime I talk about my fiancee's past, she's always paranoid even if I just referred to it in passing, this would make her cry often so profusely. Then I began to question myself if there is more to what she told me because I don't think her past is really that bad. Or am I being too hard on her?

  Ask her. She has not gotten over some stuff over the past. Find out yourself if she is hidding any info and then keep encouraging her and assure her of your love .
