    CHRONICLES OF GREATNESS
    FROM GOD'S GENERALS

Hello KHCites! Happy New Year from Pearl's Cafe! (Lol!) We would like to apologise for the very long pause. It is well in Jesus name! Amen!
Good news! Diamond in Rough Book One: Corper Shun!!! is out! It's been out since January 31, 2016, but that's just the good part. The better part is there is a promo package that starts August 1, 2016, exclusive to KHCites first. The first 500 people to place order for the reprint will pay N500 which is half of the original price. This offer lasts till the end of September in anticipation to deliver at the forthcoming KHC Camp meeting (For as many that will be present, for those that might not be able to come, arrangement will be made as to how to get their copies). If you have read it KHC page alone, you only read a tip of the story, the full story is encapsulated in the Novel. I have also done a short video on comments about the book and the author. Kindly click the link below to see the Video and details on how to place your order:

Also, we should be rounding off with Platoon II (Second Series of Diamond in the Rough) end of August or latest end of September. Stay connected. Once again, we apologise for the long pause and our inconsistency. We are sorry *repentant face*. We hope and we'll be glad to still have our loyal readers with us.

With that said, let's round off with John Alexander Dowie's story which we left behind. Happy Reading! Happy Learning!
John Alexander Dowie (The Healing Apostle!)

    His Last Days

The last days of Dowie were filled with so much persecution and attacks that at some point, he set himself on a vengeance mission which failed woefully but for the mercy of God, the newspapers and broadcast media would have spread the shame of the woeful failure.

At some point in Dowie's life, he was said to have been the Elijah of their time. At first, he denounced it but as the words rang in his head, he started yielding until he started calling himself Elijah. He went on to build the “Elijah Complex” which was against God's will for His life. With time, his preaching deteriorated into mere denouncing of his enemies, political lectures and he took counsel from no one except “minor” mates.

Godly persecution that activated the mantle of the Apostle office in Dowie's life became what he used to fight to maintain his personal influence and success. This, however destroyed him.

Dowie soon proclaimed himself as the first Apostle of a renewed end tim church, denounced his last name and signed his documents as “John Alexander the first Apostle.”

Soon after his self-appointment, he suffered a stroke on the platform where he delivered his last sermon. Then, when he was out of the country to recover, the City of Zion held a meeting and voted him out.

Dowie fought this decision but did not succeed. He could not regain his position but he was allowed to live his last days inside the Shiloh House, his home for many years where he slipped to eternity on March 9, 1907.

    “FAILURE” YET A SUCCESS
    1. He went down in ministry as an impostor, yet he was a genius called of God.
    2. His ministry produced John G. Lake (A great healing Apostle to South Africa), Bosworth Brothers (FF and BB), Gordon Lindsay and a host of others.
    3. Dowie also made the Bible alive to people. He was an instrument of God to restore divine healing and revelation of repentance to luke warm, lethargic Christians.

    MESSAGE FROM HIS “FAILURE”
Never sway from what God has commanded you to do on this earth.

    THE END
