6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.Genesis3:6
She saw that the tree was good for food- Lust of the flesh/eyes
It was pleasant to the eyes- Lust of the eyes
A tree desired to make one wise- pride of Life.
She gave also unto her husband, and he did eat. As ladies, we need to be careful, and very sensitive. These 3 things are what the enemy use to get to us and if we are not careful, we pass it on to the man in our life. But who is the mastermind of all these? The devil. He was the one that tricked Eve, and she fell , gave it to her husband. And both of them sinned, knew they were naked and hid themselves from God.
God had already told them not to eat frm that food. But because of lust and flesh, they fell. Same things apply to us, As Christians, bible says thou shall not commit fornication/ adultery. But due to Lust and flesh, it happens, and immediately, Something dies within us, and just like Adam and Eve , we begin to hide ourselves from God.
We need to be on guard, sensitive And protect our Men. Shield them and pray for them. We shouldn't be ignorant of the devil devices. The devil is the main enemy we need to fight. John 10:10 ' The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The devil came to steal, kill and destroy. Don't let him destroy your home, don't let him kill your joy. Be at alert. 1 peter 5:8' Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Don't let him Devour you, your man and your home.
Why do we even have to do it this Jesus way, you may ask? There are lots of other ladies who do Jeru trap, get away with it and are married happily. Why do we need to suffer ourselves and not do it. Because we are different . Ladies, we are the light of the world, to show forth the light of God, we are born again Christians ( Christlike), bible says fornicators and adulterers God would judge, because we Love God and want to keep his commandments, because we have the fear of God in us, because we know that he that committeth sin is of the devil and we are the righteousness of God. And so many other more.
Bible says' mark 8: 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?. Yes Jeru trap, good marriage, everything is going on fine. But the soul is lost . What shall it profit us ladies. Let's remember Joshua 1:8. - It is the key to a prosperous and successful marriage. I pray God to help us all. Remain blessed.
