We've been friends for a very long time and both families are quite close. Recently when we went for summer he proposed to me but I dne was surprised but the truth is I like him as a friend and wouldn't want anything to affect the friendship but sincerely there is no leading in my spirit to say yes let alone marrying him. I don't want to lose him as my friend and at the same time I really want God's perfect will for me. Please what should I do?

Pray and settle it in the spirit. Once God has spoken, then simply tell him about your conviction. Its just a proposal, dont let the family connection put pressure on you.
You can keep the bond of friendship without marrying him.
