We've been friends for a while and we do attend the same fellowship, recently she began sending me funny text messages and sometimes after service she would want us to walk together. I decided to keep a distance to avoid passing the wrong impression and she suddenly became angry and started sending me messages that I had been leading her on. Please how do I handle this?

Well you are not enemies, you are brothers and sisters in the Lord. Please just sit her down and give her the talk.
Apologize for "misleading" her as she said. But declare your stand in terms of how you feel for her and how you want to relate with her.
dont be emotional, be sincere and straighforward.
