We've been together for over a year now and our relationship has gone very deep. Recently I realised that he's always referring to his ex during our conversations and sometimes would know what's happening on her social media page. This is getting embarrassing for me though we both love each other very well, please what can I do about this issue?

Well I guess he is still friends with his ex. Meaning maybe they broke up on a fair note, so no hurtful feelings.
However, he should be more focused on you and talk less about the ex especially when he is with you.
Communicate your displeasure to him strongly but politely. Ensure you are heard and he takes correction.
