We've been close friends before we started our relationship which has been on for quite sometime. We both decided we were going to see our parents about our plans for marriage but needed to make our relationship official to them first. I took her to see my parents and they were very pleased to see her but when we went to see her parents she did the unexpected, she actually introduced me as her friend and she later apologised that she was very nervous. Please this is just too embarrassing for me, what is your sincere advise?

Take it easy bro, she has apologised and stated her reasons.
Believe her, she was probably just very nervous or scared.
Give her time and be patient, she would introduce you properly. Let her draw confidence and courage from you.
