  My fiancée had always wanted her wedding to be exclusive, very different from the day to day wedding.
  So an idea came to my mind, though I'm yet to discuss with her.
  I want to have a lady as my best man, not for any reason o, just to change the status quo.

  From my personal point of view, its a NO! Will you allow a man be her best lady? A man will wear the gown or normal manly clothes and stay behind her?

  Bro I already have heard of such happening so you wont even be the first. Its just not ok, it is not lovely to behold.

  Moreso, in church there should be order, let a man have his place and the woman her place.

  Look for other creative ideas in terms of your dress sense, decoration, cake, reception order, photographs etc

  Why ask for trouble? And for what, to change the status quo? The status quo don't need changing especially when it is right. Remember, it is "best man" not "best woman."
