    The general elections did not hinder football fans from keeping tabs with the sizzling clashes this weekend from European leagues. Manchester United have the Manchester derby bragging rights as they thumped neighbours Manchester City. Chelsea remains on top and in a comfortable position of claiming the league title this season. Meanwhile in Spain, Chistiano Ronaldo inspired the Galaticos to a win against Eibar and despite Barcelona drawing away to Sevilla,the Catalans still sits on top of the la liga with two points ahead of Madrid.
