22 Year Old Rapes 15 Year Old Girl
Olatunji Olajuni, a 22-year-old Ondo State based man has been reported to be charged to Akure Chief Magistrates' Court for allegedly raping a 15 – year old mentally deranged girl in his residence at Lane 7, Oduduwa Street, Okeigbo in Ileoluji/Okeigbo local government area of the state.
According to the prosecutor in court, Olajuni, knew the mental health of the girl and still lured her into his room on May 27 to forcefully have carnal knowledge of the her, an offence that contravenes the Criminal Code Cap 37, Vol.1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.
Olajuni pleaded “not guilty” when the two charges of rape and assault was read to him. The Magistrate, Musa al-Yunus, granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till July 7 for hearing.
