Victor Agali says Peter Odili's Gift almost killed Him
Victor Agali, former Super Eagles striker has revealed that a land gift from ex-Governor of River State Peter Odili almost killed him.
Agali who was given a piece of land located at Trans – Amadi GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt by Peter Odili as a reward for qualifying for the Korea/Japan World Cup has sold it to a military officer.
The one-time Schalke 04 striker stated that he decided to sell the land in order to save his life.
He mentioned that he was threatened by the militant groups who claimed the land was theirs even after he showed them his certificate of occupancy (C of O).
He said he had to sell the land to them when they promised to go to any length even to spill blood if the land was not so and he noticed that actions were already been taken to carry out the threat.
