Buhari and Osinbajo to Declare Assets in 100 Days

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that his declared assets and those of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will be released to the public after their verification by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

The process is hoped to be completed before the 100-day deadline which the Bureau officials said they would do.

Meanwhile, on Saturday June 6, the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, said on behalf of the president that the completed form by the president and Vice President were submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) on March 28.

This statement is said to have been made to clarify some suggestions that the president and vice president might not have declared their assets publicly.

He stated that even though public display of concern is valid, appreciated and valued, it is a little precipitate.

He further assured that the president and vice-president are committed to public declaration of their assets within 100 days that was pledged during the presidential campaign.
