Governor Ambode to Meet with Tanker Driver
Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has summoned Petroleum Products Tanker Drivers' Union and stakeholders to an emergency meeting on Monday, June 8.
Ambode called for this meeting on Saturday June 6 when he was at the scene of the early morning petrol tanker fire at Idimu area of the state.
He said, the meeting will address the incessant petrol tanker-induced fires in the state.
The governor gave the directive on Saturday, June 6, during a visit to the scene of the early morning petrol tanker fire at Idimu area of the state.
A similar tanker fire had occurred on Tuesday, June 2, at Iyana-Ipaja area of the state which left several shops and vehicles destroyed.
