SO, THERE'S A DEADLINE?

SO, THERE'S A DEADLINE?

DEADLINESSSS...

Who else gets so irked whenever that word comes up? I mean, the fact that we have to meet up with not just an expectation but a dated one can be so overwhelming. But really, such situations help us discover ourselves and more of the abilities that lie in us through the PUSH that comes with it. Okay, that said! That's actually not what this post is about.

Here, I'll be talking about something entirely different. Right here, I'll be talking about the deadlines we set for ourselves. You know all these "I must have my first car before I'm 25 or I must get married before 30" kinda thing {okay, I know I'm shaking a table}.

Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being ambitious. We all have been called out of the ordinary into the extraordinary here on earth Rev5;9-10. It only gets "undue" when we move from being ambitious to being DELUSIONAL...which births DISSAPOINTMENT.

Walking with God brings a light to our path that filters off any form of false belief or wrong thoughts Psalm119;105. The more we build intimacy with HIM, the more He works in us... dusting off every form of "dirt and dust" in the different "rooms" of our lives and filling them up with sincere desires and wants that that stem out of HIS WILL for our lives.

He does all these in preparation for what He has in the "store" to decorate and adorn our lives with. And this is why we are so certain that ALL things work together for our good Rom8;28. So, as much as we make a list of our dated expectations and strive to achieve them, let's TRUST in God's timing and enjoy the process/walk with God towards achieving them.
