After Being Through A Lot, What Next?

"ARISE [ from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life ]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isa 60:1, AMP)
We have looked at the fact that God wants you to arise. In whatever situation you find yourself, God wants you to arise.
We also saw the fact that God wants you to arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you. Your circumstances must not define you!
Lastly, we also saw that God wants you to rise to a new life. There is a newness waiting for you. It is the greatest opportunity being presented to you right now by God! Rise to a new life. A new life beckons to you regardless of where you are right now. The devil wanted you out, but God offers you a new life in Him.
It is a flicker of hope, but it can become a beacon of light, when you decide not to give up, but to rise again into a new life.
Yes, I know it has not been easy. In fact, when you remember what you have been through, you feel like crying. You have felt abandoned. Negatives experiences seemed to have trailed you. Life seems to be unfair!
But God gives you an invitation this morning, and He sent me to you with that Invitation card, that you should rise to a new life.

I once a met a young lady in one of my meetings, and she told me, "Pastor, I am only seventeen years old, I am too young for what I am going through! I am depressed, I smoke and I drink."
There are many like that, but God has not written you off. Your destiny will still be fulfilled. God will never consult your past to determine your future. My dear, this morning, I come to you all, dear KHCites, with a trumpet in my mouth, as one sent of God, proclaiming His word unto your ears and hearts, “Rise to a new life!”
Yes, the relationships didn't work out, but a new life awaits.
Yes, you have been abused by those you trusted, but a new life awaits.
Yes, like Mephibosheth, you have been dropped before you reached the age of accountability, but my dear, a new life awaits you!
Yes, the delay seems for ever, and you have watched others get married except you, but a new life awaits!
Are your eyes getting wet?
That is the tugging of the Holy Spirit, painting in your hearts the reality of a new life, too good to be real, that awaits you when you embrace His ways!
The reality of a great and beautiful life lies at the end of the tunnel!
The concluding statement in the above verse says, “Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!”
Shine! That is your destiny! Shine! Anything less than that will make you unhappy and unfulfilled. Decide to shine!
Everything has been dull before, but now, He says, Shine!
Pastor, you don’t understand, I have been messed, up, abused, used and dumped, battered and shattered emotionally, busted, dusted, and disgusted, maybe this message is not for me!
Yes, but God makes no mistakes! He says unto you, Shine! You are not reading this by coincidence, it is a divine incidence that you picked this to read. As you read, know that the greatest possibility and opportunity is being presented you, “Shine!”
Shining differs from sparkling, glistening or glittering. All those usually imply irregular or interrupted radiation.
But “shine” means a steady radiation or emission of light,
You never say the sun or the moon sparkles.
No wonder Jesus Christ reiterated here
Mat 5:16 AMP - Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
It is time to shine! In practical terms what do you do?
1. Give your life to Jesus or rededicate your life to Him
2. Ask Him to fulfill His word in your life. Tell Him you want to shine in your relationship/marriage
3. Stay away from all compromise. Decide to live for God. Decide to shun a life sin.
4. Disconnect from all partners in sin! Eliminate every distraction. Delete that number. Refuse to reply the chats. Cancel that trip. Make a commitment never to go back into compromise.
5. Maintain a life of devotion to God. This devotional can help you. Read it daily. Talk to Him daily and ask for direction.
6. Ask Him for more details about the new life He is calling you into. Ask for direction. Ask Him to guide you into the marital path He has for you.
I see a new you emerging. The devil is a lair over your life. You are going to have the victory and you will laugh last. You will shine. You will bounce back. Your life will be a testimony, an example of God’s goodness to others, because you will shine and your light will be seen!
Listen to me as I conclude this morning, what is that great dream that God has given you? It will yet to come pass. It is never too late. That dream of a wonderful family, godly children, peaceful home, great ministry will yet come to pass. They thought they had snuffed out the future of Joseph, but they only aided his passage into destiny. They thought the pit will put out his dream, but never. They thought slavery will finish him, but it only projected him. They thought the prison will imprison his dreams, but it only led him to the palace!

You can sow a seed to KHC if you are led to. Find options below.
You might have been abused, but you are never reduced or devalued. You can take a hundred dollar bill, squeeze it badly, step on it, but its value remain the same! You are not devalued. Your glorious destiny is intact!
All that has happened to you up until now, is just a passage into that greatness. You will soon see, because, right now, at this moment, you are rising to a new life. And listen to me, when it happens, which is soonest, you will forget the shame of your youth. The blessing will so much overwhelm you that you will need someone to remind you about where you are coming from! Rise to a new life, today!
I am shining forth!
Lord, give me the grace to rise to a new life
Isa 60:1 CEV - Jerusalem, stand up! Shine! Your new day is dawning. The glory of the LORD shines brightly on you.
Isaiah 13 - 17
