Confronting Each Other In Marriage

Confronting myself is something I will have to learn more of doing. You have to get to a point where you are able to confront yourself even more than any other person can do.

You should be able to look at yourself and tell yourself "this is wrong", "this is not right", "What you did is bad", "this your flesh".

When you walk in the light of what you know, you gain more light to walk in. And the more light you have and walk in, the more you will have light.

Not confronting yourself deprives you of blessings and moving forward. A person who does not confront issues remain stagnant and stays on one spot for as long as it takes him/her.

God wants to move us forward, pour blessings in our lives. But like the children of Israel in the wilderness, who spent forty years for a journey of forty days, God can't until we cooperate with Him

We have the Holy Spirit so that we can confront ourselves. The Holy Spirit shows us things that are wrong with us, with our relationships that we may deal with.

That is why he is our Helper. He will faithfully stay with us, even abide with us till we are ready to change.

Husbands and wives, you have to be ready to confront yourselves on issues that the Holy Spirit deals with you. Don't look at your spouse's fault or any other person.

It is you that the Holy Spirit wants to work on. The Holy Spirit is a personal Spirit that works on us individually.

Stop and admit that you need the Holy spirit. Tell him you will obey His slightest tugging at your heart to repent of any evil. The Holy Spirit will tell you when you are of a wrong attitude.

Take responsibility, confront yourself and you will see yourself becoming a better you.

God bless your marriage
