Dear Single, Heart Break Is Not Necessary

Jennifer and Jackson are both devout Christians who were engaged in a promising relationship with all hopes heading for marriage. But suddenly, communication between the duo became sour.
Jackson: Hello dear
Jennifer: Hi
Jackson: I’ll be coming over to see you this weekend
Jennifer: Ok (with excitement and hope to further their wedding plans)
Jackson finally made it to Jennifer’s place, in a cool environment that suggests it’s going to be a romantic moment.
Jackson: Dear Jennifer, forgive me, I want to pull out of this relationship
Jennifer: Why? (perplexed and troubled)
Jackson: My peace is not total
Jennifer: What happened to your peace? You told me God spoke to you that I am your wife
Jackson: You are a good person Jenny and I value you so much. It’s not your fault in any way, but I can’t just continue with this relationship.
This was how the relationship between Jennifer and Jackson ended, even when both claimed they heard God clearly leading them into that relationship.
Although Jennifer didn’t see it coming, she believed so much in the relationship, but she was disappointed. She went back to God and drew strength from the ‘throne of grace’.
Heart break is not part of a working relationship.
If he/she wants to walk away, let them go!
Don’t ever beg for a relationship, you're worth more than that.
If it happens, God has permitted it for a reason and it doesn’t mean that you are disadvantaged.
“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.” Isaiah 43:18 (MSG)
If God speaks to you about a relationship, the other partner can also refuse to cooperate with God.
A relationship may not work out not because God is not involved but sometimes, either of the partners might have compromised in a way and thereby hearing other-wise.
There is a replacement for every Saul! God anointed David in place of King Saul because Saul compromised God’s instruction and became unfit to be Israel’s King.
Stop crying over that replaced Saul!
Start interceding for your David (a man/woman after God’s heart).
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY: I will not be replaced.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY: Lord, help me not to compromise your instructions for my relationship/marriage.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Isaiah 43:19 (MSG)
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Go back to God’s instructions for your relationship.
