Get Angry And Restless To Break That Yoke

And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. (Genesis 27:40 KJV)
We all know the above story. Isaac wanted to bless his son, Jacob. He asked him to bring venison that he might eat and bless him from his heart. That is a spiritual principle. When you give to a higher grace, you can provoke the release of grace and blessing. Isaac is not asking for venison because he is famished, hungry or didn’t have food in the house. He could have asked his wife, Rebecca to prepare something sumptuous. He was a wealthy man. So it is not that he was hungry, it was so that Esau will not be hungry in life. Oh, that we may understand that principle, that you don’t give to a man of God because he is poor, but so that you will not be poor in life!
So Esau went to hunt for a game, in preparation for the venison. Before he came back, Jacob in collusion with his mum had prepared food and given it to Isaac. Isaac whose eyes were dim, doubted, but eventually took the venison and blessed Jacob from his heart.
When Esau came back and learnt about what happened, he broke down on tears and regret. He begged his father for a blessing, but His father’s response was heart breaking for him.
And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? (Genesis 27:37 KJV)
Esau was devastated. He was broken and hurt. His life was a mess. His father was more or less saying there is nothing else I can do for you. I have fortified Jacob. I have eaten the venison and I have blessed him from my heart.
Esau cried and asked his father to just say something. And then his father left just one hint of possible deliverance for Esau if he can pay that price!
…and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.
Even though he is blessed and I have made you his servant, but a time will come, if you can have dominion, you will break that yoke and fulfill your destiny!
See the Message translation:
You'll live by your sword, hand–to–mouth, and you'll serve your brother. But when you can't take it any more you'll break loose and run free. (Genesis 27:40 Message)
In a contemporary language, it is like saying; when you get restless, or when you get angry, you will be free!
This is true in our situations today. Some of us have coped with what God has not called us into. Some of us have embraced afflictions that Jesus has made us free from. I need you to get angry this morning and refuse to cope with nonsense again!
No more low-living.
No more lack and insufficiency.
No more failure.
No more depression and despondency.
No more broken relationships.
No more delay in marriage.
Decide to get angry. Decide to say No to rubbish!
You are a child of God, blessed and favoured, anointed and appointed.
You’ve got to tell the devil, no more not me!
Sin shall no longer have dominion over me!
How does one get angry?
1. Get into God’s word and arrange very dangerous scriptures that assures you of your freedom in God. Search God’s word with a holy anger.
2. Go into God’s presence and plead your case that you may be justified.
3. Come to terms with yourself, and say no to the bond of iniquity. Free yourself by your obedience to God. Walk away from that partner in sin!
4. Stay close to God and His word. Get into the covenant mode. Switch into the dimension of the spiritual, and drink of His presence regularly.
I pray for you this morning, every yoke in your life is broken and cursed in Jesus name! This day, I proclaim you free from everything attempting to tie you down! I release you by God’s Spirit from every limitation in Jesus name!

Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. (1 Peter 3:7 KJV)
