Let's do Something About Our Marriage

Sometimes it is easier for us to put the responsibilities of things working in our marriages on God.
 
 
We desire a marriage that is fun filled, with no bitterness, hurtful words, no resentments, no selfish behaviours, where your husband is forever so sweet and your wife so supportive and angelic.
 
It is good to have such wonderful and beautiful desires but such desires will not come to pass if we are not willing to do something.
 
Nothing just happens. Things happen when we make them happen.
 
Our marriages is like the garden God planted in Eden. We are given the responsibilities to tend and cultivate our gardens.
 
The effort we are willing to put into the cultivation is the extent of harvest we will receive.
 
The responsibility God has given to us, He trusts us to fulfill it.
 
He has given us abilities, talents, empowerment in His word and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
 
God intend us to use all we have to make our marriage beautiful.
 
We have to learn how to live with each other, and that is with our weaknesses and all.
 
We walk in love with each other and learn to forgive and show mercy.
 
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I take positive action and responsibility over my marriage.
 
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Lord, help me to take positive actions that will improve my marriage
 
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
 
Pro 15:15
All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].
 
ACTION PLAN.
Begin to take responsibility over your marriage.
