*SIMPLE ORGANIC BEAUTY RECIPES*

Some of the best skin-nourishing, glow-inducing, line-reducing skincare ingredients can be found right in your own kitchen. Try these recipes using organic ingredients to reduce your exposure to toxins and help protect the environment, and get ready to put your best face forward.

*ORGANIC AVOCADO BANANA YOGURT FACE MASK*
Greek yogurt reduces inflammation and redness, while avocado and banana provide natural moisture.

Directions: Purée banana and avocado, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Apply mask and leave on for up to 20 minutes. Rinse well 1/4 banana, mashed 1 teaspoon mashed avocado 1 teaspoon Stonyfield Organic Greek Yogurt Plain or any other brand you can find. 1/8 teaspoon brewer’s yeast 1/8 teaspoon coconut milk

*Organic Pumpkin Enzyme Face Mask  
Pumpkin enzymes and lemon juice mildly exfoliate, which translates to brighter skin. Pumpkin seed oil is high in fatty acids, which plump the outer layer of skin.

Directions: Mix half a can of pumpkin with the rest of the ingredients. Apply mask and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well 1 can pumpkin pie purée 2 teaspoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon pumpkin seed oil Pinch of cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg

*Organic Aloe and Cucumber Mask*
Aloe and cucumber are both excellent for soothing irritated, sensitive skin. Aloe contains natural skin hydrators and the high water content in cucumbers cools inflamed skin—especially when chilled.

Directions: Purée the cucumber and aloe together. Apply mask, leave on for up to 30 minutes and rinse with cool water. 1 large aloe plant leaf, washed and chopped 1 cup chopped cucumber

*Organic Tea Toner*  
High in both skin-healing flavonoids and vitamin C, this toner is great for undoing sun damage.

Directions: Steep the tea in lightly boiling water for 15 minutes. Add the grated citrus and set aside for another 15 minutes. Pour into a jar, seal and leave in the refrigerator overnight. Strain and store your finished toner in the refrigerator. Dab on with a cotton ball after cleansing, or use as a post-cleanse facial splash 1/2 cup water 1 rosehips tea bag 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind

*Organic Oatmeal and Raw Honey Mask* Honey is naturally antibacterial, and oatmeal is incredibly soothing, making this mask ideal for acne-prone skin.

Directions: Combine the oatmeal and warm water and allow the oatmeal to absorb the water. Add honey, mix, and apply the mixture. Leave on for up to 30 minutes. Rinse well 1 cup oatmeal 1 cup filtered warm water ½ cup raw honey For any dark areas of your body Crush 5 tablets of white vitamin C Add 2tbs lemon juice 2tbs lime juice 1tbs whitening glycerin Mix all ingredients together .

*How to use* Just use a cotton pad soaked in the mixture apply to the affected area for 20mins rinse and moisturize.
