THE MERCIES OF GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2018

DATE: SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 2018

TOPIC: THE MERCIES OF GOD WILL SEE ME THROUGH.

TEXT: EXO 25:17-22.

PREACHER: PASTOR DUNAMIS OKUNOWO

VENUE: SHOUTS OF GRACE CENTER

Mercy is the outward show of pity and compassion. It is seen as being active not passive. It assumes the responsibility to bring to reality all our needs.

Two sides to Mercy;

- The one in readiness to receive

- The one who has adequate resources to give

Keynotes;

- God will meet you where mercy is Exo 25:22. He comes to man at the point of mercy not judgment.

- You can come to the place of mercy anytime! Heb 4:16, Lev 16:1,2,13, Rom 5:1,2.

- God's mercy will see you through Eph 2:4.

- You need that mercy Rom 9:15,16.

- Mercy must meet with truth on your behalf Psa 85:10, Prov 20:28, Psa 85: 11,12.

- There are hindrances to receiving mercy;

  1. Self condemnation will keep you from receiving God's mercy Jonah 2:8, Lam 3:22,23.

  1. Failure to give mercy to others will block the mercy of God Matt 5:7.

- Pray that God should satisfy you with mercy Psa 90:14; 36:7-8; 63:3-5; 65:4; 105:3-5.

The Mercies of God is sufficient to see you through all life's happenings. Just be in readiness to receive God's UNFAILING, SATISFYING, EXTRAVAGANT and GREAT MERCY.
