Should I tell my mum She has a child?

I could remember my mum telling us while growing up that we must marry a virgin and I have seen a woman that I love whom I wish to spend the rest of my life with but she already has a child when she was a teenager. I don't really know how to tell my mum this part. Should I tell her or just keep it to my self for now?
