We might have gone through various challenges, set backs and disappointments. But we should still hold on to the one who can give us the right person.
Someone once said, the next worse thing after hell fire, is a terrible Marriage. That's why we need to get it right and trust God even afterwards.
Let's look at the scriptures
1 John 2:15-29King James Version (KJV)
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Everything that is in the world is not of God, when we say the world here, we are talking of the desires of the world. Nobody is saying you shouldn't desire it, but don't let it be a god to you, desiring it more than God himself.
Bible said, all of that would pass away, But the will of God abideth for ever. Every other thing would pass away, but the will of God remains for ever. What is the will of God, the word of God.
So if you know that guy is in the world, and doing things of the world- Not Born again. When he comes to meet you, You just can't walk together, because you are seeking after God, to love God, to please him. It would all sound strange to him and he might not understand.
What is the will of God- Matthew6:33 ' But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and every other thing, shall be added unto you.
Choose to follow God leading, He can never lead you wrong! God Bless you.
