  Through my "personal investigations", I discovered that my fiancée was almost married before.
  Her would be husband, who was into politics was assassinated few months to her wedding.
  She never mentioned it to me, not once.
  
  Should I confront her with it or just let it go?

  Well, good you know, but obviously she has her reasons for keeping such hurting memories away. Yes, it must hurt dearly.

  Anyway, you should ask her about it. You are asking so she can confirm the "news" and let you know all that you need to know. It shouldnt be a big deal.
