    Joyce Pauline Meyer (1943 &ndash

"Spending time with God is the key to our strength and success in all areas of life. Be sure that you never try to work God into your schedule, but always work your schedule around Him.-Joyce Meyer

Pauline Joyce Hutchison popularly known and called Joyce Meyer was born June 4, 1943 in South St. Louis, United States to Mr & Mrs Hutchison. Her father was a member of the army that fought in world war II which happened soon after she was born.

Her father started abusing her sexually at a very tender age until she left the house at age 18. Her father was a drunkard and usually beat her mother. He made Joyce look through the keyhole when he and her mother had sex and told him how he made her feel. He told her to wait in the garage 5 or 10mins earlier than him so he would come meet her and he would molest her.

If they had to go out, he would ask her to beg to let her go with him in front of her mother and he would say no, then she had to beg and he would finally allow her. It was all planned by him to make it look it was her fault. She was the one that wanted to go out with him not him asking her. He took her out and had sex with her on the back seat of the car. One day when this happened, a police officer caught them. Her father told the police officer she was his cousin and the police officer told him he would let them go if her father allowed him to have sex with her other wise they would both go to jail. Her father agreed to this term but luckily, the police officer got a call and he could not do what was planned.

Her father took her out for driving lessons and during those times, he took her to the graveyard to have sex with her. According to Joyce, her father did this to her many times.

Her father always told her to bring her friends from school so he could do the same thing to her friends but she never did, however, he did it to her neighbour who was also her age mate. Joyce and her neighbour both knew what was done to them but both of them said nothing to themselves.

She was never allowed to date or have friends. Her father moved from molestation to rape. He raped her regularly from age 12 and her mother could not do anything about it. She was never allowed to participate in anything in school because her father suspected she did things with the boys.

Joyce's father told her he did those things to her because he loved her. One day, he took her to his one of his female relatives' house and told Joyce he was going to sleep with this female relative. After sleeping with his female relative, he came back to tell Joyce what they did. According to her, he said he did all that to make Joyce see what he did to her was wrong.

He raped her every week at least once until she was 18years. According to Joyce, she said, her father must have raped her at least 200 times before she was 18years.

One of the days he raped her in the sitting room, her mother walked in, saw what happened and walked out of the house without a word or doing anything about that. She acted like she saw nothing. This hurt Joyce deeply, she hated her mother for that.

When her mother was going to have another child, Joyce hoped it was going to be a girl, so she could be free from her father's abuse but it turned out to be a boy, which also made her hate her brother more.

According to Joyce, anytime her father came back home drunk on saturday nights, her mother usually bore the brunt of his state. He beat her up many times and cursed her mother often. Her father controlled the home and Joyce childhood was damaged.

    ...to be continued.
