My wife wants to go and spend a month with her mum because she is a widow. I told her it would be risky for me, but she is adamant. How else can you tell your wife that such actions makes a man vulnerable to temptation?

You have to sit down and discuss with her and let her know the consequences of her actions. Also, it is good she spends some time with her mum, but definitely not a month. Both of you shoud sit down, reach an agreement, and also be acoountbale to each other. Learn to deal with the fact that you will not always be together all through your life time, for example as a result of work, so at such times, you must learn to put your body under and deal with your weaknesses.
