  I really don't understand speaking in tongues. Why should I? My fiancee suddenly said she will not marry me unless I get filled with the Holy Ghost and honestly I don't see any reason why i should. Can somebody enlighten me?

  She's right because its a dangerous thing to be with a believer who doesn't believe in speaking in tongues, is like saying I'll drive my car without fuel or engine, our engine/fuel as believers is the Holy spirit and you can't have him and not speak in other tongues. Jesus commanded stay in jerusalem until you be filled with the Holy spirit, so please desire it and you'll be filled, she's safeguarding her future and yours too
